Home against 1-5 Rhode Island, (0-3 on the road), this makes absolutely no sense to me. Please someone explain. I was expecting Brown to be a 6-7 point favorite here..

Historically the Rams straight own the Bears....
Rhode Island is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games when playing on the road against Brown
Rhode Island is 9-1 SU in the last 10 games when playing against Brown.

S.O.S favors URI here. 1-5 record means nothing. They have played much stronger teams: Texas, Nebraska, and George Mason (common opponent). URI lost by 2 to GM, 90-92 and Brown was murdered 48-74. Brown has played NO ONE. URI is an easy cover tonight.

Sagarin has URI 7.5 better than Brown with Brown's home court factored in.
Rams for me,

Why is brown only getting 5.5 points? Because the Rams are 1-5 from playing tough teams and losing close games, I think they get it together tonight and blow out brown.

yeah....if you bet early on in the CBB season based off of teams records then you're straight up gonna go broke. You have to look at who teams play and how they play them, not just their records.

Both teams have played George Mason, check those box scores. Capping 101.

The real answer to this question is because URI is a much more public team than Brown, who is an Ivy league nobody in the public eye. That is your honest and real answer.

Bingo thats part of it and also they know people will look at the boxscore and see one team lost to barely while the other got blown out.
