I don't feel like I know much about college basketball but I seem to kick butt at it.

Tonight is a perfect example. Virginia favored over a top 15 team? Take Virginia.

Always play home dogs that are +2.

Keep up the good work No Coin.

I really like Creighton and think SDSU is down a little this year, but this is an awfully difficult assignment for them. That might be the best play on the board, especially if the line makes it to 3.5. Just hate the short home faves, though.

I like virginia tech like you said. Been reading a bunch of info on them and seems like everyone who posts is thinking of taking them.

Not always that simple, but you can follow that formula and do pretty well. The few rules you want to follow in college hoops:

                    1) Home dogs of any variety never hurt.
                    2) Home faves of -3 or less are typically poison.
                    3) Unranked home faves are $$$ vs. ranked opponents, especially with RLM.

Not any different than football, frankly.

Spartans are still a hard read. They have quite a few newcomers, but I've been pretty impressed by what I've seen from them so far. Not sure if I want to lay quite that many points, but I'm not a big fan of FSU.

I see the total there is low at 123 -- will probably be a grinder.

I definitely would feel pretty good about that total .....more so than the line ....I think fsu is in the same boat as mich st in terms of not knowing what to expect this early in the year

FSU has played good basketball, beaten by a very underrated (well was) Harvard team and played UConn nip and tuck. Michigan State played Duke semi close but how good is Duke really? I think FSU could pull off the SU win
