Denver +7 Wednesday vs. St. Mary's

What do you guys think about this one? Denver is typically a pretty strong home team that can trip teams up in the altitude. I watched St. Mary's vs. UNI and wasn't all that impressed -- they're solid, but not sure they should be a 7-point fave on the road in this spot this early in the season.

Also looking at Youngstown State and San Diego State Houli. Any opinion on those two? Possibly Alaska-Anchorage as a DD home dog to Murray State, who is kind of in a rebuilding period as well.

Looking into this game more, I'm going to have to agree with you NC. Put a few units on them myself.

Don't care for YS St. Penn is tourney tested while YS St has yet to face a "quality" team. With that said, maybe they will get a backdoor cover. A-A (ranked 17th, picked 1st to win their conference, div ii) and Murray St (picked 3rd to win their conference), hard to figure out. Boggles my mind to even attempt it. Regardless, good luck on your plays NC.

I take back what I just said about backdoor cover. Penn St so far has shown a propensity of playing better in the 2H. If you are going to make a play, perhaps YS St 1H. Penn St showing low FG% in the 1H and a major improvement in the 2H. Its early in the season so take that with a grain of salt. Frazier is the real deal though.

Fade Memphis/Tenn. Teams are horrendous the day after OT games, while playing in tourny's. I remember K-St was extremely tired after playing that 3OT game vs Xavier 2 years ago.

I think st mary's will win in a blow-out here. Denver is terrible on the boards and st. mary's is one of the top rebounding teams. I think they win by double digits. Denver's schedule has been very weak so far. They face one of the best teams in the country now. I like st. mary's -7.
