Because I know both teams pretty well (or at least I thought I did). The one thing I was worried about was ISU's lack of a true PG, and man, did it hurt them tonight. With that being said, though, they missed a ton of free throws (and they're supposed to be a solid FT shooting team).

ISU buried Drake in each of the past two seasons. Drake has a legit guard in Rice, a decent guard in Simons, and nothing underneath. There's no reason the Cyclones -- a team with a ton of transfers and experience playing in front of a borderline neutral crowd -- should have lost this game. But as you can see by the bizarre RLM, something was up and I should've just let it go.

ISU was -2 two years ago and -8 at home last year. The lines have been consistent despite how lopsided the series has been.

I wasn't as surprised by the -4 open, but when it dropped to -1, I should have known better. Just stubborn about it, because in reality, there's no reason for ISU to drop this game.
