There is still a misconception about S.Miss's 4 guard system & their tempo. Reason why their tempo is among the lowest in the league is because their coach wants them to look for higher quality which sometimes take longer to develop, they actually will run with any team willing to do so ala Memphis. Also bettors are getting value as well beause of what their low-scoring game with UTEP which was more down to fact that S.Miss was #1 in the league in knocking down 3-Pointers, but UTEP are #1 in 3-Point defense.
