Official Play:

Lehigh +13.5 Lehigh I believe is going to be the 2nd best team in the Patriot league behind only Bucknell. They return the unquestioned best player in the conference in CJ McCollom. McCollom is a legit talent who should hold his own just fine tonight against an athletic Big East squad. Lehigh was the top scoring team in the Patriot league last season and I look for more of the same out of them this year. This team has plenty of scoring options. I'd be surprised to see them under 70 tonight, and just can't see St. Johns scoring the 85 or so that would be needed to cover against that number.

Official Play:

Liberty +19.5 - Liberty a 19 win team last season returns 4 starters including their best player in PG Jesse Sanders. Also returning is the conferences leading rebounder John Brown who averaged over 10 boards per game last season. Flat out 19.5 is just way too many for A&M to be laying here. This team as you may recall from last season is very offensively challenged. Most games last year it was like pulling teeth watching them play. They'd scratch, claw, and do everything possible just to eek over the 60-65 point range game after game. There's no way I can pass up nearly 20 points from a 19 win team returning 4 starters against that. Give me Liberty.

My mistake on the Liberty write up. John Brown is out of the year... sad part is I actually knew that and completely forgot while doing my write up. Regardless my play on Liberty stands

Official Play:

Mississippi State -7.5 - Wrestled with this one for a bit, but ultimately i'll go with the trio of Bost, Sidney, and Moultrie. MSU just has too much talent for Akron. Their lackluster showing the other day against EKU I think was more a product of just going through the motions and playing down to the level of competition rather than a bad performance that should cause concern. I look for them to come out more focused and energetic tonight. Stansbury isn't going to let this club come out of the gate with 2 straight ho-hum performances. Bulldogs take this one by 12-15.

Like Liberty to cover tonight too, without Brown. Sanders is good, possibly the best player on the floor tonight. Good luck to us.,

Agree with you. Sanders is a very solid player, and like you said very well could be the best player on the court tonight.

if you go to the Liberty Flames website they did an interview on him today it was quite interesting actually
