Xavier will be looking to get a positive win out of this tourney and start an upward trend after losing 3 straight due to suspensions and repercussions from the "brawl". I expect them to shut down Mamadou on the inside and their guard play will overwhem SIU's guard heavy rotation and cover w/ a win by 19-24.

Hawaii isn't a team to hold a lead. Good thing they are dogs here. Ostroski, Thomas, Johnson and Joaquim is the determing factor in this game, along with the better bench. Clemson went hiking in the morning, practice at noon, and visited Pearl Harbor in the afternoon today. Hawaii just has to focus on winning on Christmas in front of the home crowd. Host team for the win!

UTEP, 6-1 ATS, is clearly the better team here in my mind. They played a tougher schedule than Auburn (2-2 ATS) and has shown to be better offensively with a deeper bench than Auburn. Both teams played the same amount of games in the last 9 days (5 games), better bench play by UTEP will be a factor. UTEP for the 7-10 pt win.

Hopefully its a profitable Christmas day but regardless how it turns out... I'm going to enjoy this Christmas with my family. Merry Christmas everyone.

I'd lean under but I don't see much of an edge with the current total. Dexter seems to be good at totals. Not sure if he has a play yet on this one.
