Mighty maron this is my thought process. The Tribe as a underdog is 25-13 ATS last 38, road games 18-11 ATS last 29. St. John as a fav. is 8-17 ATS last 25. But most importantly Johns lost Pelle and Garait from last years team and are very young and 8 points is a lot(IMO) and lastly this is for a small taste.!!......GLComment -
not only is st johns very young but they are poor free throw shooters and Lavin will not be on the sidelines (could hurt a young team not having their coach)..W&M returns everyone from granted not that talented of a team, but they can stroke the trey, between their 3 point shooting and jonies lack of free throw shooting even if st johns have a solid lead late there still a good shot at a back door here..Comment -
Smaller schools being able to hit the three better is akin to the theory of the noble savage. Both are myths. This is a BAD W&M team verses an all star high school team. St Johns has 5 top 100 recruits to this class. In years past, freshman inexperience plays more of a roll than this one and done atmosphere in college.
