The total lands on 65. I knew it was coming.

Only a handful of books have totals on all the games early in the year. So expect a lot more of that scenario. Around early to mid January is when all the books stop being scared and usually start listing totals on all games.

My ******* piece of shit Espn score widget told me 1h total 70.... Still does... So my calculation for over 67 2h = 137 for the game. I was late but got 136.5 live and thought I was laughing. So ******* furious right now.

That is brutal, especially if you saw how it ended, with a bunch of missed free throws in the final minute, including two by VCU which would of also made the score close enough to open the door for a lot of intentional fouls at the end instead of just letting the clock run out. There was only 1 point total in final minute combined.

In about a month or so I will have a lot more stuff that isn't so time sensitive. Been working on a 1H ATS and Totals model I plan on using for CBB starting in January, as well as the usual 1H/2H/full game totals for NBA once that starts up.

0-1 tonight. Good pick, bad result. Pace was sluggishly slow, they just combined to shoot almost 60% in the 2nd half, shot 7 for 10 on three pointers, and there were a lot of offensive rebounds on the few misses, and it still only made it over the total by 8 points.

I can only do it using the info in the boxscores literally at halftime (which is I believe how you roll).
But this is very difficult at work lol (different timezone), and if I remember correctly we have both been burnt by ESPN giving out dodgy numbers, and/or changing them.

Any idea where to find this 1H/2H data publicly? I know it was asked previously on the forum (by embliss ...or something like that) but they had to get private data from another member.

I have a good, simple system for unders that I can access during live betting 3Q during peaks and troughs of scoring vs projected. But to be able to utilise a system at halftime would give me access to far more games, and not be subject to Bet365 -120 av. lines juice-a-thon.

teamrankings.com has some 1H/2H season average stats. Not sure if it is what you are looking for or not though. I do not know where to find box scores for individual games that separate the 1H/2H stats, I only knew the 2H shooting numbers for the game last night because I still had the 1H shooting numbers typed into a percent calculator that was still open.

And yes, there were a couple occasions last season where ESPN either gave out the wrong score, or the stats suddenly changed drastically 10 minutes into halftime. But for the most part, ESPN seems like the most reliable real time box score source, and easily the closest to real time in it's updates which is important for 2H wagers with a miniscule time frame to get the wagers in. This year, before I actually make any wager, I do quickly double check the score/stats on the cbssports website. That is a pretty good alternative to ESPN for real time box scores if you are looking for one, just a bit too fancy and detailed (aka longer loading times) for my liking.
