Oh, one more tip for the temporarily downtrodden: Do NOT try to alleviate the situation while drinking. I repeat, do NOT try to alleviate the situation while drinking. EVERY time I lose two or three straight plays while I'm also enjoying some intoxicating beverages, it results in massive chase plays and losing 25% to 50% of my bankroll.
For example, I'm down today after six consecutive positive days. And I happen to be drinking right now. I'm not down much, but still, I'm not gonna let myself start getting angry and "doing whatever it takes" to end up plus or even for the day. You simply take the loss and forget about it and you get back at it tomorrow. I mean we all know this, but sometimes it's good to put it in writing and remind yourself!
