funny you said that - i have full dental coverage, and last year i had 2 root canals done. I went to my dentist about 8 times in 2 months for all post/crown bullshit. i ended up paying like $1500 out of my pocket. i went to a new dentist this time - i felt like that place was just trying to rip me off. from your post, they likely were.

WOW . I think we lead the league/forum in dental work. I've had one for 20+ years with no post and crown. I think it's in the protocol ... "this is what you're supposed to do" regardless of common sense. No fun. BOL.
