Looking for any and all breakdown of the Oregon UVA matchup.

I think Pritchard’s late clock ally-oop plays are going to be a problem for UVA. 55ish possessions. UVA doesn’t shoot 35%+ from 3 and Oregon has a real chance to win.

Oregon is running good on opponents 3-pt shooting lately but a large part of their success in that area has been their UVA-esque suffocating D that mentally and physically wears teams down over the course of the game. It really has reminded me of UVA and how out of sorts they get ppl. The other team will start missing shots they can make in their sleep, dribbling off their knees, forgetting to catch passes before making their next move. is UVA too seasoned and disciplined for that? Will Oregon be the one who falls into that uncomfort zone. Will they both?

Oregon has given up 31 or less in 19 or the last 20 halves they’ve played.

UVA has been down at half in 4 of their last 6 games.

UVA was 2-17 from 3 when they played vs Louisville in this building earlier this year.

BUT... UVA is still UVA, they’re the best defense I can remember in college b-ball. They cover more than anyone. They can light it up from 3. Etc, etc, etc.

Up 3 with 6 seconds left Tony Bennett does not foul to prevent a 3 point tying shot. That screwed the cover. Make the first shot then miss the 2nd just like Virginia did at the end of regulation. Lose by 2. Disgusting.
