Best ML would have been -130. Interesting strategy with small favs. Because with the point spread, sometimes you get to a point where both teams are playing against you, as the winning team may be sitting on a small lead or conceding a basket at the end that covers for the dog. In other words, a favorite will be playing all out to win, but not all out to cover. Think Prevent Defense in football.

I stayed away because it was in Hawaii and I liked that Hawaii team the last time we went with them. Smart, disciplined team.

But I'm not as astute as Ayo, and a few followers were convinced La Salle was a crazy, contrarian pick, so there may be something to be said for blindly tailing a capper who is almost 60% over 178 games.
