Bud... this happens ALL the time. Especially in college ball. Gambling isn't really "logical". If it were we'd all be rich. There are so many factors.

By your logic you should have jumped on the +13 since it was a guarentee.

I didn't want to go against the expert so I just stayed off. Of course +13 was not a guarantee but it sure was a huge spread considering how bad they played. It would be interesting to see some stats on how +1400 dogs perform after winning HT.

Especially considering the team that was down was a superior team and had been favored by 17.5 going in. The caution would be that it was at East Carolina.
