Ayo, any thoughts on the app st WCU o/u 152?

Mixed feelings on the total. Although WCU is shooting 40% from 3 this season, they’ve exceeded 1.00 PPP in just one game vs. D1 opponents (1.24ppp vs. Alabama A&M who has one of the worst defenses in the country). You can exploit App St at the rim but I don’t feel confident in WCU being able to do so. App St should be able to get out in transition as they like to do and really take advantage in the paint creating plenty of opportunity for their strong shooters. Last year’s meeting was ugly to say the least - both teams could not hit a shot. In that meeting, App St standout, Ronshad Shabazz, was 3-17 shooting and still managed to have 17pts - he should have his way tonight with the help of a much improved Mountaineer offense. GL

I’m sure you know, but GCU is not technically at home, it’s at a neutral site in town. Thought it’s worth mentioning because Grand Canyon has a crazy atmosphere at home and probably a pretty good home court advantage.
