Form would suggest Man City will crush - 9 wins straight vs 1 win from last 7. Man City really need this win to get the 16 wrapped up. Mind you Napoli is in 3rd and a victory would put them in great shape to get the last qualifying spot.
Note: Napoli appears to have murdered Oct, incl AC Milan and Inter - but if you look closely the 3-0 Inter victory was due to some HORRIBLE refereeing decision including one amazing piece of arbitration (all a single play):
--> calling a very soft/touch foul outside the penalty area - for some reason awarding a penalty spot kick to Napoli anyway - sending off the defender involved (this is in the 1H...) - and when the penalty was saved, the deflection was allowed to be kicked in for a goal - despite the fact that several Napoli players were offside by moving into the box before the kick was taken. No team (even Inter) could recover from that///
We will see tonight. Not a bad wager for a small smount on face value. I don't think Man City will be able to light it up though, those Italians play some very scrappy defense and a slower, cautious pace. I expect Man City to push, and Napoli to reply on counter-attack with their 3-pronged strikeforce. I still think Man City will win by a goal. Would not touch the total.Comment -
