Does everyone that opens a SBR acct come into this thread and post random picks or is it just me? If you want credibility, coming into others thread and posting picks is not a way to get it. Not one to complain a lot but damn lately it's getting to be nothing but newbies throwing darts

If you want to give your picks, make a thread so people can track. Don't use other people's threads. Give information, build credibility. There is a system to this.

I dont know if you're referring to me, but all I do is post winners in this thread. I dont want to start a new thread because I like the people in this one and want to help them win money. We're all in this together. Paper is paper no matter who gives you the winner.

I agree. I think it's all about how you do it. Most people are welcoming in their threads, but it should be obvious that you don't go into a thread called "So-and-so's Picks" and post "1/24 plays: X, Y, Z". I mean duh.

Just be more conversational, like Hey cool thread, what do u guys think of X, Y, or Z, I like those plays today.

There are pretty solid contributors to this thread who's names arent in the title. Dont group everyone together. I dont see people telling bigd1 to stop posting. Just sayin'

Wasn't specifically calling you out, RoadDog. We disagree, however. If I'm in the minority, I'll shush up. I just think opinions should be free, and picks should be made by the people who create the thread. However, again, I'm in the minority.

ADDITION:I think if you post picks in a thread and don't track your stats, you are muddying up the system. There is no way to tell who has been posting what when. Picks get lost in the shuffle. Money gets lost. Just my two cents.

All you have to do is click on each person's history and you can see all their posts, and if you looked through mine you would see that I contributed four plays to this thread since the weekend:

Delaware +5 (outright win)
Austin Peay -3 (won by 12)
South Florida -1.5 (won by 16)
5 Point Teaser Old Dominion -2.5, Grizzlies under 201 (ODU won by 12, Grizzlies total = 181)

Not arguing on the success. Arguing on the practice. This is not a disagreement with you, and your picks speak for yourself. I just think there either needs to be separate threads for the individual cappers or one big thread, possibly both. Last I'll say about this. I've already spent too much time on the subject.

Blackout, I agree with you completely. Don't think we are in the minority but don't know really.

It's real simple to me. It's nothing at all against any particular posters, so no one take offense or anything. You could all be great cappers and great guys. Just a normal forum etiquette thing. You talk about plays but you don't "POST plays". Just start your own thread, it's that simple. Everyone will check it and if you seem to be doing well, then soon it can be YOU who has a popular thread and other people clogging it.

You guys are missing the point. Most people create threads just to prove how "sharp" they are. They climax when strangers think they are great gamblers. That is not my intention. I make money on my own. I dont need people to think I'm some great gambler. My intention is to share really solid picks with a group of really solid people. It's not too often you see a continuously informative and interesting thread. Just adding to it.

Okay, fair enough. It's not that big a deal to me, I guess everyone can put their stuff wherever. Harder to sift through but it's all good if people are picking winners, right?

I post here occasionally. But did post more frequently last year. Sonny told me it was fine. Bean is a friend too. If ayo and buck have issues they will tell me; otherwise I post: surebets picks, not a newbie.

Hey Fam, what's UP?? Sorry, Upscope's been slacking lately

Been VERY busy last week or so. Working on a business we're starting UP in Las Vegas. With a launch date set for March 1st I'll remain VERY busy going forward. UP to date records will be posted shortly. Will try to keep UP as best as possible but the betting on my end will come to a near halt till we can get this thing off the ground. I will still keep the records but you might have to be patient for stretches @ a time over the next couple weeks

Figured the line would move against them which I like (since I got them as a pk) The over is tough here just because the uw defense is solid especially at limiting 3's. Sorry if me posting some info offended anyone just figured you guys have helped me a lot I would give some back by sharing the little that I know about a big game for my home club. BOL everyone

Also, personally I have no problem with people posting plays in here and I'm sure buck, bean, and sonny don't either. The last thing I want to see happen is this thread die down so I like when there's continuous activity. Especially Surebet because he's been posting in here since I joined SBR. To please both sides of the argument and limit confusion to others, if you want to post a play just don't put it in bold. Does that work? Doesn't matter to me . GL to All
