Hawaii is in my filter to NEVER play and UNLV is also...especially with the game in Hawaii. Don't care how good it looks, I dont trust either of those teams. The refs will def favor Hawaii at home. Has SUPER shady written all over it

FYI, anyone considering the UNLV at Hawaii contest, here's my write-up:

Hawaii has some serious momentum going, winning 6 of their last 7, and coming off a 100 - 73 blowout of NC St. Our shooters have finally found their rhythm, guys are playing and sticking to their roles, and everyone is starting to believe. Plainly put: UH is not scared one bit of UNLV and basically everyone is seeing this game as entirely winnable.

It should be a good game, but it would probably be better to play UNLV first half. Hawaii always comes out slow and uninspired. In the rare situation that they do come out fired up, whatever lead they build up in the first few minutes, they will lose it before half-time. Then I would recommend Hawaii 2H, where they have been outscoring opponents by an average of 12 points all year. We were up by almost 40 in the last game, but coach Gib emptied out the bench w/3 mins to play while the other team left all their starters in.

So UNLV 1H is about a 3 unit play, UH 2nd half is a 5 unit play, and the game ATS is a NO PLAY. I'm going to take Hawaii small, but only because my book isn't offering 1H/2H, plus I'm a degenerate homer.

BTW I'm a ridiculous 12 of 16 on the day so far...yes, I've been playing almost every game my book is offering, but that's cuz my style consists of taking lots of small 2-team parlays. Not really any straight-ups unless I absolutely love a line and there's nothing to parlay it with!
