Who else likes Huskies here? Both have great stories but UCONN should win this one.....obviously the reffing is going to be of utmost importance. PPl are all over Butler...strange as it sounds, I had a dream last night that UCONN wins this one by 10 lol. Hard to fathom butler losing by that much, especially in a televised championship game.....this uconn team is playing like a team with destiny though, anyone else on this one??

Checking in sportman with the Huskies here too! The total is kind of low but I recommend a look at the under too, unders have hit literally every time(excluding OT games) in the last few tourney rounds and I have done well on them.Comment -
Taking -175ish ML favorites is completely against my style normally, but this is the only bet that really makes sense to me for this game. It is pretty amazing what Butler has managed to do in the tourney the last couple of years, but look at what UCONN has done in the past few weeks. The Big East tournament Champion - and now in the NCAA Championship game. Unreal. Having said that, Butler probably does have the best coach and the most resilient team in the entire country. On top of that, the refs will definitely be giving Butler the calls tonight. Mark it down. The refs will make sure this one stays close, but Uconn has Kemba and the better team overall. Thanks for your insight bro...I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this one. Looking up the past ncaa champions...the last time a powerhouse or well-known college team did not win the championship was in '94 (if you consider arkansas not that solid of a bball university). Butler were given the win against pittsburgh and I agree with the amazement in what uconn has done over the past month or two. Refs scare the **** out of me....particularly if the ncaa tries to send the message with uconn losing b/c of calhoun controversy (maybe lighten up the controversy if they lose, whereas a win would highlight that more imo). I think uconn match up really well and the fact that butler doesn't use the zone as some teams do, I think uconn won't have that hard of a time offensively either. oraikhi, smith, and okwendu cannot get in foul trouble (although it's gonna be tough with howard and butler getting more phantom calls than any team i've seen in this tourney). Another interesting observation...typically teams with more white players have done better in the championship in most recent years. Nonetheless, huskies have not lost a tourney game this season.....have dominated out-of-conference teams and think they get it done tonight. Plus, apparently lang is on butler???? Please say this is so! Finally, this uconn squad has to make up for the huge loss by women's side last night. One of the books have them as -155, not sure whether i wanna pound it just yet tho....BOL to you bro!Comment -

I try to avoid big bets on high-profile games. Lines are typically razor-sharp because they're high volume, public driven and there's nothing else on the board.
With that being said, the fact that the public is leaning Butler is to your benefit.Comment -
agree with you bro and thanks for your insight.....I agree with you about butler not facing a dynamic 3-guard mix that uconn possess. I will admit, napier scares me as he's a crapshoot at times (understandable cuz a freshman) but he certainly shows poise....hopefully he can hit his shots but i'm not counting on that the least bit. Another thing that favors uconn is the fact that butler hasn't really faced a game-changer like kemba this whole tourney.....not only that, they have an aggressive defense but uconn loves to get the bigs in foul trouble. as long as refs call it fairly, i see howard gettin in foul trouble early in this one.....another interesting point is that butler don't really use the zone, which is uconn's biggest weakness throughout the season that i've seen (although have gotten better at it). That is probably the best way to contain walker imo....but they always shift defensive schemes and somewhat make it look like a zone but not clear and cut as some bigeast teams do.
