i have this as Butler, 34-32 at half. that extra half-point makes it a little scary, but i don't take a 1H total unless i see at least 5-6 points of advantage. tough call, but i'd probably still play it. BOL whatever you decide.

i don't do a lot of write-ups, but since i don't normally post prop wagers, i will. i like Butler +3, but just not enough. i don't like Butler 1H. check out the games for these guys over the last few weeks - Lamb scores double-digits every game, Vanzant is getting 7-10. Vanzant can score 10 for sure with opportunities, but Butler won't be running plays for him. Lamb, on the other hand, is the best complement to Kemba Walker that UConn has. Walker will probably go out of his way to get his teammates involved in the first 12-15 minutes, and Lamb's the best guy. Who on Butler is going to challenge his shot? No one.

Rick, do not tail it big. i did a brief write-up. the reason that i noticed this is that my shithead buddies and i did a final four player pool. i have Kemba Walker and Vanzant. this is not a hedge. i think that UConn gets plenty of good looks for Lamb. check out Vanzant's stats since the conference final - when, we know, Butler shifted into tourney mode. Butler won't be looking for Vanzant, but they will be looking to take away Walker. when they take away Walker, Lamb is the best guy to get buckets. coaching 101.

i will check in at 4 minutes 1H then halftime. i'm 0-2 on 2H plays on the tourney, which has me looking for something 2H. don't want to get shut out. i haven't had a good tourney - at all - but i would really like to finish it right.
