Anthony Grant's team is playing with a tremendous amount of confidence after finishing the season UNDEFEATED at home. Although they're known to be a lesser team on the road, in a neutral environment like MSG and with an expected crowd of 10,000 I think they'll bring their A game. Alabama has had a knack this season for big wins.

Colorado plays HORRID defense and with the way that Tony Mitchell is dominating the fast break, I don't think there will be any way for Colorado to stop Bama's attack.

Look for Alabama to control the pace and go for a big run late in the first half and never look back!

Interesting fact : Something like 90% of the Juniors/Seniors on the VCU squad were recruited by Anthony Grant.

Alabama is a much improved team from the begininng of the year and they did go 15-0 at home during the regular season but I can't get past their 4-10 road record. Good Luck with the L-o-c-k.

I like Alabama....they are a tough and athletic team overall that have been playing well lately. I haven't really watched much of Colorado this season though. Anyone know about Colorado.....strengths/ weaknesses? Thanks

I've made some change on my home team lately but this game is a tough one to call. Alabama averages 66.7 points a game Colorado averages 79.6. Common opponents = Georgia who beat Colorado early in the year Bama beat Georgia twice also Oklahoma State Bama lost to them by 8 and Colorado beat them by 4. I'm looking hard for a reason to bet Bama but I haven't found it yet. For Bama to win this game they will have to put up a team total of high 70s to low 80s I'm probably going to play the team total over for Alabama and adjust at the half as needed.

Colorados offense is way better than Bama's and even though Bama is known for great D, the Colorado offense will end up being too much for them. Colorados the play here. Wait til closer to tip bc you'll probably get another .5 or so.

My feelings also pretty much, people are looking alot at Bama's defense, but seems no matter who Colorado plays they almost can guarantee you 70 points, I initially thought Bama will be too physical for them, but this Colorado team has faired well against other physical teams in the Big 12. Bama has been bad on the road this year and bad on neutral courts and they just may not be able to keep up with Colorado's offense. Colorado's defense had me wanting to kick the tv when they played Kent St. They play no defense whatsoever pretty much, still they pulled it out. People on Bama I think need to look into this one a little deeper.

Bernard, why am I not surprised to see you in yet another anti Bama thread? Bama will win and win the NIT. Listen to what you guys were saying Bama has a good D but they cant keep up offensively. Defense wins ball games fellas. Colorados O wont be near as good when they are having the ball stripped from them every few minutes.

I really don't understand the argument against Alabama here. Other than their one defensive win against KS at home, Colorado has just outshot every other team at home. Alabama has held every unranked opponent it has faced to under 67 points since December 15th. Colorado only has two wins when they score under 67 points. Alabama doesn't have to rely on it's offense to win while Colorado MUST shoot well or else it won't even stand a chance.
