    If Kentucky and Butler
were to meet in the championship game would that not represent the biggest coaching mismatch in history?

Brad Stevens vs Mental Midget Calipari?

Again it would be a poor matchup for Butler but they don't seem to care. I would love to see this matchup.

Butler ML for my current and future net worth

Seriously, UK would start down 15 points just because of coaching

Why does everyone on this forum think they know so much about coaching? TPowell, I think you brought up coaching more than players in your interview with Loshak. Calipari is a slimy bastard but he has done a great job with this team. He's got his guys playing some of the best defense I've seen in a long time.

Kentucky's players are all manchild's. It took 4 years for Thad Matta to build a championship contender, and Calipari gathers up freshman who are superior in a one year span. Its amazing how well Calipari recruits. But that were it stops w/ my Calipari praise. Kentucky's offense is purely AAU ball. Its all isolation, and one-on-one ball handling. His players such gifted athletes, that maybe its the best way to play for them. Nevertheless, nothing they do on offense is due to being well coached. Though their defense is elite, and comparable to Butler's. Kentucky's players give maximum effort on defense, and it has shown throughout the tourny. They didnt play like this during the regular season, but obviously the regular season is irrelevant. Just ask VCUGO Rams

Cal has historically not been a great coach (Exhibit A: National Title game vs. Kansas), and he did not do a good job of coaching during the regular season, but anyone who says Cal has not done well during this tournament either does not like KY (TPowell above) or has not been watching the games. Now, that doesn't mean he's gonna come out and coach well in the next game...
Stevens no doubt is a very good coach, so whether Butler plays KY or UCONN it will still be fun to see how he prepares his team and what type of adjustments he makes during the game. But let's see first how he can do against another good young mind in VCU's coach.

I would have never thought Butler would wear white uniforms in the Final Four.

Cal is a much better coach than everyone gives him credit for. Yes he is top dog in recruiting but that is not the only thing he is good at. He is amazing at getting his guys mentally ready to play. He may not be the best in the game at the x's and o's but he definitely doesnt suck at it. His team this season has been very good on plays out of timeouts. The dribble drive motion offense that Cal runs is what these kids want to play in and usually it fits his players well so even though there really isnt many set plays its the best offense for his team to run. Last year they were so big and powerful inside that he abandoned the dribble drive and went to more set plays because thats what fit better with last years set of players. That's another example of a great coach, someone who adjusts his style to fit his players. The defense he has these guys buying into and playing speaks for itself.

Wont argue with anyone who wants to say Brad Stevens is better because he is an outstanding coach in his own right and maybe he is better I dont know but to say Cal can only recruit and sucks at coaching like that retard Tpowell who couldnt spell coach if you spotted him coac is just wrong.

so the dribble drive utilizes screens? Thats untrue, these kids do whatever they want on offense and it'll come back to bite them in the ass

For once in my life, I've actually been impressed with the job Calipari's done with this group. He's not a master technician when it comes to X's and O's, but he's done a decent job coaching these kids "up" to their potential -- something I definitely couldn't say about their team last year.
