Good luck Biff - it's the only way to go in this game IMO. Can't trust either team, but UK seems to be riding the higher wave.
You were right about Zona and Miller. I saw a couple of nice lanes they could have driven to at least try to get a foul.

i like the unders in both games, but this seems like the clear play. Calipari might be greasier than Zorro's hatband, but he has these kids focused and playing well. their length bothered OSU on Friday and i think that they'll be the first team in the tourney that won't let UNC have their way with their height.

the Arizona/UConn final possession was like something out of a bad AAU game. i don't think that Miller's a bad coach, but there were threads about him being the best coach in CBB earlier, and that's lunacy. he's a good coach who made a bad call. way too much time to settle for a three, not with UConn in double bonus and AZ a 75% team at the line, and the crowd on their side for OT. when teams drive in that situation, you often see guys open up lanes and almost let the drive through rather than risk a cheap foul. it's weird, but on final possessions against man-to-man, so long as you avoid a charge from a help defender, you can usually get a nice look at a lay-up or runner and attack the glass. no player wants to walk back to the bench after committing a bail-out foul in that spot.

thinking about VCU 1H +6' or under for the early game. like VCU to cover for the game, but it's risky, and the large line seems to tell the story - books don't think VCU has enough here.

indeed. BOL to the Wildcats, Paperstacks. this play definitely out of character for me, i grew up in the South a UNC fan, and 10 years ago i would've never bet against them, much less when they're playing UK, the other most-winning team in CBB history. i think that Kentucky is the tougher team, the better outside shooting team, the team with the better PG, and i don't have a ton of faith in Roy Williams. should be a good watch.

chickened out on VCU game, 1H, 2H, oh well. great run by a team that could've been sent home permanently against Drexel 23 days ago. if they don't win that game 62-60, they don't get to upset Mason in the game that got them here. college hoops rule.
