Called 3 fouls on 1 trip against Fla, no call on FT which Butler got a bucket, and called another foul on Fla on next trip. Quite simply they called 4 fouls on Fla in 2 possesions, and this was when Fla was up 11 getting ready to extend their lead. Once again this postseason the refs influence the ending of a game, I've been calling for it all tourney long these refs have to be re-evaluated and they have to get some younger officials on these games. These old grey haired ***** are just impacting the game to much for my liking.Comment -
Now they're giving Fla some make up calls, unfortunately for us Gator backers these make ups are coming after they single handedly brought Butler back in the game. If the NCAA wants Butler in the Final Four just prefill the brackets so we don't waste our time, and if nothing else they're all gonna get their almighty Butler cover and close game for ratings or whyever they make these zebra's do what they do.Comment -

Then they're gonna give coaches and players shit about taking money because their "amateurs". Just to give u a heads up I'm a diehard Buckeye and we lost to a better team last night. What I can't except is watching the game of basketball made a laughing stock by a bunch of suits at CBS and the NCAA who influence an important game like this with outside influence, I like to see the players decide the games, not corporations and zebras who they control. It used to be that you could at least count on the players to decide the college games, now it's become like the NBA in regards to the refs.Comment -

Real funny, it's one thing to **** around as an official to keep a game close it's another thing entirely for that team to actually win that close game. These officials seriously have to betting on these games, that's why you keep seeing these old guys reffing them. Say what you want about the refs but Florida had their chance in a tie ball game with the final possession only needing a basket to win an they take an off balance three from a guy who was cold from downtown all game long. Never understimate what calls like the one's that were going against Fla will do to their pscyche. When you're getting ready to blow ateam out and the refs call 5 fouls on you in less than 1 minute, on top of a couple no calls for you in that time it changes the mindset of the entire team. Very difficult for kids to overcome that, plus Butler was fitted for the slipper early in the tourney and the Ncaa didn't want to disappoint. Butler in the Final 4 is a much more compelling storyline, and that's what it really all came down to in the end.Comment -
