Power Trends favoring the Over against the 1H total
KENT ST is 8-1 OVER (+6.9 Units) the 1rst half total versus poor pressure defensive teams - forcing <=14 turnovers/game after 15+ games this season.
COLORADO is 14-6 OVER (+7.4 Units) the 1rst half total versus good defensive teams - shooting pct defense of <=42% this season.
Stats n Trends aside.... Did u guys see the Duquesne/Oregon game yesterday? Everyone was wonderin why Oregon was favored. and a friend told me, "motivation"...and i'm like huh? But really, did Duquesne have anything to play for? the Dukes didn't show up till 2H and damn that was a good 2H. Anyhow back to our situation. We don't have to worry about Colorado's intentions, its pretty clear. Ask the players from Cal and Texas Southern if these guys are out to prove a point. They got snubbed, no BIG DANCE. They've been playing with a chip on their shoulder, and i don't see anything different in this game. Buffs will come out fired up and hungry just like they always do @ home.
On the other hand, this will be the 3rd road game for Kent St in a week. 2nd in 3 days. Playing in Boulder isn't gonna be the same as their last 2 outings. The altitude, and the fatigue from the long week, and Kent St is 0-3 ATS when playing on 1 days rest. And the most important factor, Kent St hasn't played any team with the sheer talent like Colorado. Over-matched, Tired, and in unfamiliar territory. IMO Colorado runs away with this one late 1H.
