Here's A Great Question For All You Sports Betters

Why do we continue to bet so much on the NCAA tournament when it is known for being the most unpredictable sporting event of the year?

I've done okay so far in my NCAA tournament bets, but I think I may just stop tomorrow and focus back on the NBA. NBA seems so much more predictable. You never know when your going to get a team that plays like Tennessee or VCU.

this can be said about any "playoff" type situation... recreational betters will always bet more and more often on games of larger magnitude ... someone in here made a good point during the BCS national championship game that that was only one game in all sporting events that night and there was no reason to put all your money on it .. a win is a win and a loss is a loss ... this is probably another reason why Vegas makes money, cuz ppl bet on games often just for the sake of betting...
