Well in first game everyone saw the refs take clear side with Kentucky,,, now it is becoming blantantly obvious in game 2 that they have UCLA... Or atleast want UCLA in this the whole way... Numerous possessions now contested layup missed by UCLA with minimal to no contact called foul and Florida getting roughed up on the other end with no call.

This game was fairly officiated in my book, Walker just killed the bruins with that 3 pointer and won the fouling game at the end. The first game KY/WVU was the fixed game, they favored KY from the start of the 2nd, and made sure KY finished strong. I agree that officiating is getting worse every year, gotta get some ex-players reffing and definately expand instant replay.Comment -
I agree and disagree... Instant replay definitley needs to be expanded, but they use it all wrong... Like with this elbow to the face rule that can be reviewed at anytime, and it doesn't need to be intentional, even accidental contact is two free throws and the ball... give me a break..

Kentucky got all the calls (ticky tack) with under 2 min left. Refs knew Kentucky was in the double bonus. I remember one possession WV was playing great D and had the shot clock down to 11 seconds and they refs called a touch foul 60 feet from the basket. I didnt see any contact. Kentucky had a 3 point lead at that point. This was the difference.Comment -
You are absolutely right that is my point on the refs taking a side... UCLA got all calls the whole game to stop Floridas spurts, Luckily for Florida they spurted late and UCLA missed the front end of two 1 and 1's otherwise UCLA covers easily like the refs wanted.Comment -
Was watching the Rich/Morehead game and the composition of the crew is 3 old guys with grey hair. It seems to me that they need to get some young guys as well, these old guys just can't stay up with the kids on the floor. This is a microcosm of America a bunch of old people holding onto good jobs, instead of retiring and letting young people have them. Egotistical old ******* men!Comment -
It's like the refs just can't let the kids play a couple minutes without blowing their whistles and drawing attention to themselves. It's like umps who love to call a strikeout so they can do their strikeout move, a lot of these zebras love to put on a performance and it can really affect the outcome of a game. Players have watch their behavior, mannerisms, and the way they look at officals, I think it's time for the refs to do the same. I see way too much showboating, staring down players/coaches, and attitude from these guys anymore and it really affects their performance.Comment -
Watch how animated the refs in the Rich/Morehead game are everytime they blow the whitsle they have to let everyone know they're making a call. Acting like a bunch of drama queens, just do your ******* job refs, no pays to watch you ref.Comment -

I actually stated in an earlier post that I felt WVU got the 1st half calls and KY got the 2nd half calls. If you were a coach/player/fan/bettor which half would you rather have the calls go your way? I love that people think these zebras live in a bubble, they are aware of what's going on in a game and even things out in their own way. The WVU/Ky was on paper evenly officiated, but in terms of the outcome the way they favored Ky in the 2nd half was what decided the game.Comment -
