Where do you find this info? I'm trying to bet against the public every game today so someone please tell me who the public is taking....

Not a winning strategy to "fade" "the public" (who is "the public", by the way?).
And the data bases are different, one will say Team A is getting 50% of action, another will say 72%.
It will work at random, like flipping a coin, but you think you are "smart" by betting against "the public"?
You ARE "the public".
Try solid handicapping: physical matchups, conference strength, game location, motivation (though that is not much of a factor in the 2nd round!), trends, coaching, experience, SOS, public team bias... etc. Ignore the %'s bet.

you have the right idea, but you cant go off what sites like vegas insider and covers put on them. they are sponsered by sportsbooks - remember...

You need to look at games, and only bet games that you think vegas would make out on if the public is all on one side. You will hit a high percentage by doing this.

if a game is "iffy," then the line is probably right. if it seems like everyone would be on one side, and you bet only those games, you will hit a high percentage by "going against the public"

If any of you think that vegas gives out what they truly have on games, then you are nuts. JMHO.

use your knowledge to find the "sucker bets" and go the other way.

85% are on the Over. You have Spread column, ML column and O/U column. They just show the % of bets placed on each of these items. However it does not reflect the amount of $ on each side. For example to make this easy say there are 100 total bets on the Over in West VA game that could mean 85 people bet $50 on the over and 15 people bet $10000 on the under. You can't get real money on each side just %. This sometimes will cause RLM. I never make a play based on public % alone because its not a winner by itself. There are many other things to consider.

one thing youll notice is that the public loves to bet the over. they love it. but, on a game that the public is betting under, it goes over. take today for example. public likes the over in every game except SMU and BC. both go over. ive been following it for a little while, seems profitable
