I need help capping Richmond vs. Morehead st.

Ok richmond has been beating good teams.
beat temple by 4
dayton by 13
duquesne by 12,
and they just barely beat vanderbilt.

Morehead st. plays lesser teams, but that doesn't mean anything. It's all about the matchup, the types of offenses the teams run, the rebounding, etc. this is what i need help on, anybody have a good reason why Richmond doesn't beat this lucky little team by 4? Or have anything to add?

and they just seem to be one of those teams on a mission------not to mention a lot has already been made on how weak this year's field of 64 (68) seems to be.

I think Moorehead State has blown their wad, so to speak.

ONLY reason why morehead won was Louisville played a very sloppy game... They came out flat and they had to play catch up.. Richmond wont come out flat... THOSE SPIDERS will win!!!

morehead state has an awesome rebounder, but they turn the ball over a lot. spiders can shoot 3s and block shots. i like the spiders here, they want this just as bad as morehead state, they will take it serious. last game richmond sucked the first half though.

The loss to Tempe was at Temple, and it is their only loss in the last 13 games and they avenged that loss in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals.

He also left out Richmond beat Purdue 65-54 on a neutral court.

Missing Preston Knowles for the last 10 minutes or so of the second half was why Louisville lost. He is Louisville's most potent offense player.

You're right it was at Temple even worse was losing to Xavier...by 23 @ home.

Again, that was before there current 12 out of 13 streak, and Xavier was the best team in the A-10 during the regular season.

It seems to me you are looking for an excuse to knock Richmond down? They are one of my tournament sleepers before this tourney started, along with Gonzaga and (GULP) Utah State.

That said, Xavier blew out a lot of A-10 teams so I'd give Spiders a mulligan on that one.

Im on Richmond tomorrow but I would not be surprised if Morehead St wins this game. IMO they do match up really well with Richmond but im thinking talent wins this game.
