StJ has beaten Duke, Pitt, W. VA, Notre Dame, 'Nova & UConn!!!!!! Who has Gonzaga beaten; CSU Bakersfield? 'Zags are not strong this year and play a much weaker schedule. Love how StJ gets no respect, and how the Public is on Gonzaga as the line movement indicates. Can't even imagine how Gonzaga can beat StJ. I am all over StJ in this one.

One of the best players for the johnies is out. That's why the line is what it is. Even so, the wcc is a joke of a conference.

St Johns beat all those teams with DJ Kennedy, without him do they beat the Zags.

As they say, there's no "I" in team. Hoops is such a team sport, that when a star player goes down, the others tend to bring their game up to the next level. You see it happen all the time. Championship basketball games are won with D and rebounding, which is all heart, soul, desire, sweat & determination. Expect StJ to be like the NBA ad ...

The line opened with StJ at -2, and now it's an even pick'em. Thus, the Public is clearly leaning heavily on Gonzaga. Sites that run contests and/or that track picks, where a couple of hundred guys who are betting 5 bucks, is about as useful as a peehole in the snow. Las Vegas odds, where millions are wagered, etc., is the true story.

I was surprised Zagas didnt gain some hype from D.J.K. not playing. He was their central figure.

Don't see the "focus" with the Storm tonight. Lot of careless turnovers, not taking care of the glass, leaving the middle wide open ... and not getting the calls. Must be like Sir Charles said, Gonzaga, Stockton's son and all, expected to be there, whereas StJ not so much. It was 14-12 when I turned it on, naturally 'Zags ran off like 12 in a row It's like their intimidated, and being totally dominated, nd falling apart

sharp/square whatever.... just b/c the line goes in one direction doesn't mean it's the public play.

True; to clarify, when the line moves as too much action comes in on one side, it's that lean to where a majority of the money coming in is going, is what causes the line movement.
Now since one syndicate can wager a million dollars, while 10,000 Joe Public wager $100, Joe Public isn't necessarily what is propelling the line change. It comes down to the bottom line, the cash amount wagered. If 100,000 like team A, and 1 syndicate like team B, who's right? Who knows? Just following the money/line movement, regardless if it's a one million dollar wager, or 10,000 $100 ones.
