This was going to be a big play for me but I like it too much. I also see a lot of other people liking it as well. I'm having seconds thoughts now.....

I just need someone to post "Butler is easy money". I would feel a lot better about it.

This is a tough one, but I have Butler winning this one. Too many people on Old Dominion. They still have two key starters from the team that almost won the National Championship last season, and a good supporting cast. They're playing their best basketball of the season right now. Yet they continue to be disrespected. Butler has a history of playing well in the NCAA Tournament and I have a feeling they will win at least one game.

ODU playing a de-facto home game in DC. Butler has played weak all season long, and they weren't exactly dominant in their first round win over UTEP last year. They were down double digits at halftime.

I think this game comes down to the wire.. I gotta lean Butler +2.5... I have butler in my bracket winning SU... Best thing ever right now at work!..last year so many people streamed the games from cbs.com that it took up so much bandwith and slowed down their systems drastically. They figured it would happen again so they are putting up every game on all the flat screens around the office.. which are everywhere.. 3 right in front of my desk... amazing.. the people have spoken.. let the madness begin!

The teams seem equal to me.....I'll take Butler at home to cover.......can't afford too many mistakes in this game, not much of a spread.

This game is not at Old Dominion. They will surely have the majority of the crowd on their side, but that's an overrated factor. Butler played South Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama in 2008 and blew them out by 20 points. And Butler was only down by 6 points at halftime against UTEP before outscoring them 50-26 in the 2nd half to win by 18 points.

Butler is the team dominating the offensive glass, which is surprising. But with their 2 starting bigs with 7 fouls combined this early in the game we just have to let nature take its course. ODU by double digits.
