Agree with taking the pts w/VCU. I don't trust SC at all. Something tells me VCU will be the more energetic team ready to play.

Yeah, they will be scratching and clawing to get into the tournament. They want to be nationally recognized, so they definitely want that last spot.

I can't tell if I'm in a thread from yesterday explaining why UAB will cover

But this logic does make sense since SC does not want to make the tournament, these kids dedicated their whole lives to something just so they can give up during the biggest opportunities of their lives.

These posts about one team having more to prove than the other team in the tournament are hilarious. USC wants to make a run in the tournament just as much as VCU does. USC has more talent and should win, but they also have all sorts of coaching issues going on...

I honestly didnt get to watch that much of the game I had it playing on my laptop in class for the last 8 minutes but wasnt paying that close attention. I just saw that USC was blowing cock from the freethrow line and it looked like they lost the game because they missed freethrows and USC was turning the ball over a lot like I expected them to do bc that is what USC is known for

The final score was 59-46, not 59-58 or something much closer. You still think these two teams were playing with the same amount of motivation? VCU wanted it way more and it showed with a 15 point difference in the final score.
