Lobos will be without their senior starting point guard, Deirese Gary, so +6.5 is looking good for utep. I believe lobos will win in a close game 2-4 points. I do like the over on this game though.

Are you serious about Gary. I will take my money off the UTEP minus 6. I dumped a decent amount on the money line also. Should I dump money on UTEP to win and basically break even. I though new mexico was the far superior team and UTEP will be crushed after losing to memphis.

Yes Gary is out.. That being said, there are plenty of guys on the team that can score the ball. I wouldn't pick UTEP on th ML though. UNM will win this game. The only game they played without Gary was against BYU where they lost by 12. Also, the game JIMMER went off for 52 points.

UNM is still the far superior team. Gary was the leading scorer on the team but I do believe that his back up will fill in nicely at home.

okay...I was only putting money on UTEP money line to offset what I put on the New Mexico money line. I was impressed with the way you guys played UNLV down in the Pit. Anything close to that and UTEP gets blown out the water.

Yea but he also said UTEP was the play, never once said they would cover the spread.

The Lobos look like they should win this game, so much more talent, but missing the starting Point hurts. I put down a Oklahoma St / UNM parlay earlier. It seems like UTEP should be kinda crushed after their last loss in the C-USA final and The Pit is a tough place to play. Is it Spring Break for the students in New Mexico?

Yes it is spring break for the students this week but the typical crowd at the pit is only about 10 to 15 percent students.. so that won't play too much of a factor. Albuquerque has no pro sports so the lobos are their team and get fans from all over the city.
