Its not like there's much difference between a 7 and a 10. MSU has loads of experience and Tampa is an easier trip from Lansing (direct flights and everything) than from all the way out west. Plus, the last time Florida was a 2 seed in tampa they lost to MSU by 22.

Izzo in the big dance = $ He always seems to have his guys ready when he needs them. I'd be real surprised if MSU struggles in this one.

Just a bad game to bet on. MSU is inconsistent and if lucas comes to play they should win, but if he struggles they have no chance at all. This is not the same MSU teams that Izzo has coached in the past. They are to inconsistent of a team to think about betting on this game in the first round. If I had to bet I would bet on UCLA.

big ten is definitely better than the pac 10, i would say its mich state or nobody, tough one because you never know how mich state will play, probably the biggest difference in ceiling/floor for a team

Lucas sprained his ankle pretty bad last Wednesday.

I doubt he's 100%.

can anyone confirm this to be true?? Last time I heard a player was injured was Saturday with that point guard from Duke Nolan Smith... Not only did he end up playing but he was the best player on the floor.

I bet if he is hurt he will on some pain meds and not even feel it. This will be Lucas 4th year in a row playing in this tourny. This team expects to win this time of year and they were a top 5 team pre-season. They lost Lucious which hurts them tremendously but they have played as tough of schedule as anyone in the country. They have Green , Summers, and Lucas who are all good players.

Playing on the East coast will probably be a disadvantage to UCLA.
