Better play Uconn -8 1H of Uconn -11 (-200) ?

I want to get the ball rolling and build up for the later games.

I just don't want to see DePaul hang in this one early and screw me, but if I play -11 I'd be dropping bigger coin. Trade off.

Id either do 1u on 1h or 2u on -11 and I dont want to spend much more then 2u tonight so I don't want to lose that one.

Is this confirmed anywhere? Sounds like someone made it up (like when someone says TRAP LINE everyone repeats it)

UCONN is not coming into this tourny strong, they have been really cold and I dont see how playing half a game would do their starters well despite the team. I think at the least they play 3/4 of the game. That being said I'd rather not hit my allocation on this meaningless early game. Going with the 1H looks like.

Nothing confirmed, obviously if they're losing the starters will be in. Assuming Uconn takes an early lead and is up by 20 points 10 minutes left in the game.. why wouldn't they pull their starters to rest for an extremely long big east tourney (and the big dance right around the corner). *IF* Uconn has a comfortable lead with 5 minutes left, expect the starters to be on the bench. I agree with that.

If you can take Uconn -11, I believe its a solid bet. It must be noted, that after St. Johns, UCONN has home-court advantage @ MSG vs anybody.

Uconn beat DePaul by 20, in an away game earlier this year and DePaul hasn't given me any reason to expect them to cover 11 pts.

Nonetheless, I went against that logic and placed a small bet on DePaul +15. They have no chance to win the tourney, but hopefully they dont realize it and come out and keep it competitive.
