Hate to use the phrase - but is Oakland -2.5 a trap line?

This just looks too easy! Oakland have beaten SDSU twice in the last six weeks by 9 both times. Oakland played their semi Saturday and SDSU Sunday so Oakland have had an extra days rest.

I don't really believe in trap lines so have put $500 on Oakland but wondered what others thought?

In both games Oakland shot over 50% from the floor but keep in mind that SDSU attempted 9 more FGs than Oakland in the last meeting... Also keep in mind that SDSU shoots over 40% from 3pt range and is playing much closer to home than Oakland... KenPom has this as a 2 pt win for Oakland so tread lightly...

Also...not out of the realm of possibility that the conference might think that it can get two teams in the post season by having SDSU win as Oakland will get an NIT birth for certain (by winning conf reg season) and might be in-line for a shock at large with an RPI of 61 and a road win @ Tennessee and 1 pt loss to Mich St and other brutal non conference games (Ohio St, Purdue, West Virginia, Illinois, Michigan)

Some might think that is laughable but when you look at it... Oakland's 9 losses came on the road save 1... to 5 certain tourney teams (possibly 7)

nah Oakland is legit. They beat Tennessee early in the season and lost to Michigan st by 1. Their only conference loss the other team put up 100 and shot 56%. I would be shocked if Oakland didn't win tonight.

the reason the line is so small is because the odds of beating a team 3 times in a row in one season are small. However, Oakland is by far the better team, and need an automatic bid. They will win by 12. You heard it here first

lines aren't made based on what a team beat the other team by...take gonzaga women's line this afternoon..they beat st marys by 29 and 40 this year and the line was 17

Yep congrats guys! Kind of wish I put $1k on rather than $500 but was using the "If it looks too good to be true rule". Oh well can't complain at a win. Didn't get to watch it as was in class, can't believe a college game got to 200 points!!
