Fair warning I'm a UW fan and rarely bet against them - but I don't like their chances in this spot. Also really like the over, UW has been scoring more of late and they might need to step it up even more to be competitive today.

i knew that you couldn't ride along on this one, Rick, and my respect for the Badgers is deep, but this has Buckeyes by 15 written all over it. Bucks, 75-60. Badgers have to open things up more on the road. my biggest concern is that this game could have very few FTs, esp 1H, as neither team commits many dumb fouls (Pitino should make his team watch this game).

also lean GMU -5 (line movement a little weird) and Penn St/Minnesota over, thinking them over.

still thinking about Mason. i have them by 12, 72-60, but line movement's fishy. VCU is very vulnerable and GMU's athleticism should overpower them.

If VCU's center and Burges can bring it today they might be able to cover but 5 seems kinda low. Kenpom has line at 7

it is low, line should be 7-8. i don't believe in VCU in this spot, but i'm going to pass just because it seems too good to be true. maybe it's playing in the middle of back-to-backs with ODU looming tomorrow, maybe it's that both of today's CAA games look like blow-outs and if either one's going to be a close game, it's this one. i dunno.

i wouldn't if i were you. if you do, wait a bit because the number's going up. i'm not saying to switch and take the over (i never switch sides on a play, i just pass), but look at their past games. pretty much every game is around 130 at worst. it always seems to me that the second tier teams in the Big Ten tend to play higher-scoring games when they meet up because they're so used to being held to 60 or less against the better teams. also, it's Senior Day for Hoffharber, an outstanding shooter, he might go Diebler. strictly off the kenpom pace formula, it's 130. i added in a few extra points for the history, my Big Ten second tier theory and Senior Day and i think it's 73-67.

of course, watch this all be completely wrong. that's why i don't do write-ups, heh heh.

i'd still play it at 127.5. as i said above, standard kenpom pace says 130, and i like it to get to around 140.

i think i'm going to pass on the GMU 2H. it looks good, but for this game to be as far off from what i expected from the outset, i'm going to pass. that said, VCU has 9 threes to GMU's 1, that's insane. GMU 2H 3-pointer differential with be at least +4.

WF/BC 2H under 78 also looks good but passing. Wake is beyond not trust-worthy and BC may want to hang 90 in its last home game.

yes. however, i should warn you, my 5* picks have not had a very good season. missed my last few, that's why i haven't had one in over a week. 5.5% of bankroll for me is my max play. BOL whatever you decide, go Bucks.
