hey i don't blame you for questioning. the teams are a dozen spots apart in kenpom's rankings (both over 200th nationally) and split two close games in regular season. Georgia State is the more physical team, better on the boards (esp offensive boards). UNCW's biggest advantage is in 3-point shooting, and the Richmond Coliseum is like a poorly lit barn. i grew up in Richmond and it's one of the worst shooting gyms around, and a good gym for a team that wants to out-physical its opponent. Georgia State just fired their head coach and i think that the result will be a very physical mindset and a bump in performance today. they've always done well in the first round of the CAA tourney and i think that continues today. the way i've been going the last few days, i can't say that you'd be foolish just to fade me blindly, but that's my rationale. i have Georgia State, 58-52. BOL whatever you decide.
see above. again, i don't blame you for being skeptical. check out Ga State's past performances in the first round of the CAA tourney, and i actually really like the coaching change angle - this guy's coaching for his job, either here or at the next place, today. i'm not saying that they're an underrated team or ready to make a sleeper run in the CAA tourney (they're not). they're playing a team that's as bad as they are, and they're motivated and more physical. the one thing that UNCW does better than average is shoot from distance, and there aren't many worse-lit gyms than the Richmond Coliseum. BOL whatever you decide.

thanks, man. i was relatively fortunate here. yes, my cap turned out to be correct, but it required 18 assists on 23 FGs from Ga State (unbelievable for a team that poor offensively) and the better shooting team UNCW missing 10 of 20 FTs and shooting only 29.5% from the field. i expected UNCW to struggle and Ga State to be more physical (8 blocks were nice, outrebounding UNCW), but i didn't expect the offensive stats to be this skewed. i'm telling you, Jimmer Fredette or Jon Diebler would look like an average shooter at the Richmond Coliseum. it would be better for shooters if they played the CAA tourney outside.Comment -

like the Towson/Drexel under a lot, but since i like both that and Towson for the same reason (Drexel's a defensive-oriented team that has to play again tomorrow after they win; terrible shooting gym), i'll go with Towson since that seems to have a larger margin for error. plus, Towson could give a couple of extra fouls late to push this on over given that it's an elimination game. have that one at Drexel, 61-56, and the other at Creighton, 66-58.
please do not tail these plays. i'm colder than the Statue of Liberty's
right now and one game changes nothing.

thanks, pal. tonight is looking like the two overs, plus maybe something in OU/Miami-OH, Akron/Kent or W&M/JMU. those are the last three games on my list to cap, should have them done in the 6 o'clock hour. i like your Delaware play. i literally flipped a coin to decide who would be 74 and who would be 73 in my score, i think it's that close, so the points look good. my heart's with CSU, but i have some concerns there primarily because of the line movement and the fact that WSU plays good defense and may slow down Coles. i think that you were wise to go ML there rather than ATS, it's hard to imagine Watters and Coles not getting the W there. well, you don't want NBA picks from me - the association is a mystery to me, gambling-wise. however, i will say that a buddy of mine told me that he would be on Knicks and Heat (Cavs fade, Heat bounceback) and someone else told me to take a look at the Warriors. from where i sit, there aren't many bad Cavs fades, and i've had Cavs tix for years.Comment -
