as a two month lurker and recent signup-ee, i am in favor a coming up with some sort of code word if you have a LOCK, PLAY OF YEAR, PLAY OF DAY, ETC. in order not to 'jinx' the play. as a big seinfeld fan, something along the lines of 'tippy-toe' when george and jerry went to retrieve the answering machine tape.
