    Talking about locks
Tenn (-4.5) vs South Carolina. No Downey this year, the Gamecocks are atrocious. Not to mention Pearl's boys have been playing tough of late. Win @ Vandy. Only giving 4.5... Hopson has been playing great too. I say ride Tenn or the ML, it doesn't matter. Tenn by 12+

You're absolutely right. ESPN practically spoon-fed Virginia Tech a win over Duke they did not deserve by giving them a prime time saturday night game with a day-long nationally televised pep rally. Then what does VT, a team that got swept by Virginia, do? They lay a super-massive egg by getting torched by a mediocre BC team at home. If Tech loses @ Clemson this weekend, they're out and BC and Clemson are in, Duke win or no Duke win.

The same goes for Baylor, with that loss to Oklahoma State they have now lost to the bottom 4 teams in the Big XII, including Texas Tech at home. Not even a win over a Texas team in total freefall with the worst February/March coach in the history of basketball can get them an at-large now.

I understand why the line is only -4.5 because this is exactly the kind of game this Tennessee team has a tendency to lose. The SEC is so freaking terrible that anyone can lose to anyone anywhere at any time. Remember, South Carolina is the same team that got crushed by Auburn at home and also beat Florida on the road. The only reason I'm thinking of taking it is because if Tennessee loses this game there's a good chance they miss the tournament, regardless of their road win @ Pitt.

If tenn. losses vs. S.CARO. THEY CAN STILL "look good " for tourny by beating KY. in their next game.I think SC is the play. Good luck to all.
