SEC Tomorrow Night

Hey guys.....here's an early play for tomorrow night.....

South Carolina +4.5 over Tennessee

I live in Knoxville and it was just announced about an hour ago that Tennessee center Brian Williams will not be playing tomorrow night. Back up centers John Fields and Jeronne Maymon have been ineffective all year long and offer little offensive punch to the line-up. Also, yesterday Coach Bruce Pearl was critical of Melvin Goins' point guard play stating, "We need more leadership from the point guard position." Goins responded by saying, "Leadership begins at the top!" IMO I wouldn't be surprised if Goins doesn't even play tomorrow night. This team is in total disarray after losing at home last Saturday against Mississippi State. Even though Tennessee has faired well on the road this season the potential absence of two senior starters could present definite match up problems for the Vols and hamper them severely.

I would be careful with SC. There is not a single consistent shooter on the team. If SC comes out cold they might only have 9pts at halftime, like what happened against UGA. The best scorer for SC is their freshman pg Ellington. He has been banged up and is in a bad scoring slump. No way I would put money on this bad SC team.

I knew the match-up on Muldrow would cause Tennessee problems. Tennessee's back up centers were totally ineffective against him and they provided no offense at all. Didn't figure on Galloway going off the way he did. I guess those that had Tennessee -4.5 hated that last second three pointer from the parking lot!!
