how is MSU -11 agaisnt Iowa?

Don't get me wrong but didn't Iowa crush MSU by 20 points just a month ago?

Is there something I'm missing? Was someone injured that game or this game?


Why is MSU such a heavy favorite?

Well,

Kenpom (the only medium we can share) has Mich St as 8 pt favorites. 3 pt difference isn't that large. It could be due to situational factors (who has more to play for) etc

Because as scrappy and athletic as Iowa is, they're still the worst offense in the Big Ten and 3-13 in conference play. MSU can all but clinch an at-large bid with a win. I know they're not playing that well, and there aren't a lot of teams Kalin Lucas could beat all by himself, but Iowa happens to be one of them. Especially on Senior Night for Kalin Lucas and Durrell Summers (even if Summers has taken a que from Dimitri McCamey and checked out).

I do know that Iowa has been in a slump and has dropped 4 or 5 straight...but defeating MSU by 20 before should be a confidence booster.

I took MSU -11 -105 as a small play. Maybe they play with less pressure, because they imploded against Purdue.
