I feel like Ohio State can take a loss I no their a great ball club but I can see them taking a loss in the tourney

It depends on which of these teams runs into a team like San Diego State because honestly I no they lost twice to BYU I still think if SDSU gets the right path they can make the run to the Final 4 they are way more athletic then BYU.

A team like Duke im going to put a lot of trust in though. I dont care what people say about Duke they have the right qualities to win the Title IMO

Like you said with Pittsburgh what happens if they run into a team like SDSU or a team thats all of a sudden hot like K-State. Lots of factors this year.

Kansas has the tools to make it to the final 4 I just hate their guts because they **** me over every single year, but they are a well coached and run program.

I like Notre Dame though because they are another squad not like SDSU but have the right tools to make a run at the Final 4 if they get the right path. Pitt wouldnt run into Notre Dame right away because both are from the Big East but im also forgetting a decent team like Syracuse who will want to make noise also I dont think CUSE is a great team but they can knock off a team like Kansas, OSU, Duke, Pitt, or Notre Dame.

I'll throw a guess out and say Duke vs. Pitt (trying to avoid all the more popular options including Ohio St and/or Texas)

The problem with Big East teams is that they have a ceiling. Pitt beat Texas and Maryland, but they also lost to Tennessee and ND at home. Oh sure they're a lock to make the sweet sixteen, but that's really about it.

You might think Ohio State could ride Jared Sullinger to the finals but the 2007 team had depth that this one doesn't. Ohio State almost never plays more than 6 deep this year, and that has hurt the development of McDonalds All American SF Deshaun Thomas. In 2007 they had the "Thad Five" plus Ivan Harris and Jamar Butler. Harris was a McDonalds All American and Butler was a senior point guard with a year of starting experience. Without those two, OSU loses in the 2nd round to Xavier.

Duke's biggest problem right now is that without Kyrie Irving, they're not fast enough to play small.

Unlike the Buckeyes, Purdue has developed its bench and they're getting quality minutes out of guys like Terone Johnson, Byrd, Smith, and Barlow. They also play rock solid defense and are led by a talented veteran inside-out combo of Jujuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore. Last year they were at a definite disadvantage because their seed took a huge hit when they lost Robbie Hummel. This year they've proven they are an elite team even without him and will receive a higher seed, a de-facto home court advantage playing at the sub regional in Chicago, and a favorable draw.

UNC doesn't have the speed they had in 2009 but Marshall is a dramatic upgrade in talent at PG from Larry Drew II and if Harrison Barnes and Jon Henson get hot look out.

Kansas has the size and the inside-out scoring to go far but I have my doubts they can do better without Sherron Collins leading them. If the K-State game proved anything its that the Morris twins are *not* leaders.

All this being said, there is a huge gap between the top and bottom halves of the bracket this year, and no quality mid-majors to fill the gap. The last time we had a situation like this George Mason made the Final Four and Florida basically won it all by default.

Thats a pretty good 6.

They will not be tested until the final four. Duke only plays a 7 man rotation. The thing about Ohio State is they have very good guard play. They also have size. You double team Sullinger and they beat you with the 3's outside.

The one thing about Ohio State is if they face a team like Kansas they that can guard Sullinger they better be shooting well that game and they need to make sure Sullinger stays out of foul trouble.

They need to give Lauderdale minutes early in the second half b/c he can't shoot free throws to save his life.
