I think Texas runs away with this game. I would wait and see where the line goes.

Texas is the type of team K-St. cannot beat. Texas rebounds, and plays tight defense. If K-St. doesnt get offensive rebounds they are toast.

Kansas State seems like they have decided to play basketball all of a sudden, even though they dont have ANY impressive road performances all year. I think K-State can beat the Texas defense by pounding them on the glass which they should do because they are literally one of the best in the country in offensive rebounding (top 5 I think according to Ken Pom). Texas is falling back down to earth because Rick Barnes is a shit coach, so its KSU or nothing for me.

If it was -5.5,-6.5..-even -7.5 i'd definately think twice and look hard @ K-St....opening @-9.5 with the way K-St has been playing, and Texas losing 2/4.... well its either ur right or ur wrong. I'm saying that spread is too high, to be a K-St play.

Another example of how capper's models differ. I have this game at 9.5. I am not saying that my line is better than yours, but I'm usually very close to openers. I do believe that some books may shade a game and take a stand on rare occasions, but never 2 or 3 points.

I would agree that Texas isn't on their game right now, but it certainly shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone that Kansas St. was very capable of covering the number. Both teams were playing at a similar level for the entire month of February. Both were 4-0 at home with Kansas St. playing slightly better competition. K St. 2-1 , Texas 1-2 vs. similar competition away. We all know why K St. struggled earlier, they are a much different team now.
