A winner today (UNC -6)

UNC is playing better ball than Vegas is giving it credit for right now. The Tar Heels are 9-1 in their last 10, their only loss coming at Duke (by six points). Maryland is 3-3 in its last six games, but is 0-8 against the RPI top 50.

It would be Maryland's best win of the season (by a wide margin), and UNC's RPI is currently #11. The Terps are 3-3 on the road in ACC play, with the three wins coming against Georgia Tech, Wake Forest and Virginia (a combined 9-33 conference record).

Terps coach Gary Williams has taken four of the last five games against UNC, but that was with a completely different team (gone are the top three scorers from last year, two of which were 1,000-point scorers and one of which was a 2,000-point scorer).

Simply put, UNC should be about a 9-point favorite tonight. I'm playing UNC -6 large.

I follow the Terps extremely closely, and have watched every game of theirs since 2004. This is the most predictable bunch: beat crappy teams, play good teams close but always come up short. And don't play well on the road. UNC should win this by 10.

Lost on Tennesse Tech yesterday my biggest bet and was angered, then chose Cincy today and lost.

looked a the score when Maryland was 8 behind, walked away and fretted. Came back went to my gambling site and checked my money account, thought it was down to the last $25, but it wasn't, got it back up with a small $50 parlay. Straight up--marquette, wiscon--cover--tar heels. Wuuf. scary. Won't be long before its zero.

Usually i bet 2-10 bucks.
