UAB +3.5 over Memphis. I am actually shocked this game isn't a pick me.

UAB shot TERRIBLE in the first meeting (2-23 from 3 point land) in the first meeting and still had a chance to win the game in OT. Think about this, had they just shot 6 out of 23 from downtown, they would have won the game by 9. UAB knows how important this game is and their 3 best players are all upperclassmen. I see UAB winning, but take the points just to be extra safe.

Be careful with UAB. I work just up the road from the school. For years they have been their own worst enemy. Basketball or football,it does not matter. They seem to always fall on their face when they have the opportunity to do something big. They have lost like 10 straight in Memphis.

True, but who's gonna grab the 10 rebs that Moore usually grabs per game? Hamga? Soko? UAB is undersized and it will show tonight. Also of note is that Moore scored 24 pt and grabbed 11 rebs in the OT loss to Memphis that you have been mentioning. Do you really think that Moore will not be missed tonight?

Moore did play in the first Memphis game. So he will definitely be missed tonight and Davis is relying on mostly freshmen to make up the difference. I don't see them getting it done. They usually keep it close and may actually beat the spread but they won't win outright. It's Memphis ML or nothing for me. Thanks about the avatar. It's a trio of local Hooters girls :-)

UAB isn't a good rebounding team in general, even with Moore.

It gives Sanders more responsibilty offensively. Considering he is knocking down 3's at almost a 40% clip this year (he shot 0-10 the first game. You really think that is going to happen again?), I don't think thats a bad thing.

Both teams are fighting for an NCAA spot. Look, UAB is an experienced team, Memphis isn't. Guys like Sanders and Johnson know this is their last shot against Memphis.
