Just got my Betdsi account disabled, and still have 1250 dollars in my bank account. Didn't want to blow all of that also. SBR its been fun, but a very pricy habit for an 18 year old kid who works a minimum wage job 40 hours a week and also a full time student. Probably have lost 4 grand, and who knows I could have had a new car or something by now. But I think getting out now is the right thing to do, I just need to save my money and focus on my life! Anyone got any helpful tips?

#3Just tail me. You wont need a college degree.
Probably the right thing to do there bud. Get the grades, get the job, get some puuuu-tang, and then gamble when you can afford to.Comment -

#4Get a girlfriend or find a hobby that takes up your time. Something you enjoy. You are way too young to be betting, you should be betting units that are a % of your bankroll.
From what you have posted today its obvious you are not ready for sports betting so you gotta either quit or cut down your unit sizes, and tail people here while you continue to learn.
Honestly the best advice is to go out and do things instead of spending your time gambling. SPorts, do outdoor activites, hit the gym.Comment -

Sorry to hear. Gambling can be tough sometimes especially when you're losing. Taking a break can be a good thing. You know just to get away from the grind of betting for a while. I say take a break come back in a week or two and start fresh and just work slowly on winning your money back and making a profit. Also remember never to go all in with large bets. Keep the bets small/manageable so when you lose it doesn't sting as bad.Comment -

A goal without a plan is just a wish.
To think too long about doing a thing often becomes its undoing.
There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

#18It's not the way to fortune or paying your way through college, or even trying to pay off a mortgage, car, or whatever you have. People dream this will it happen but only a few might do it. gambling it's so iffy and people have so many opinions about the right choices, as you can see by the postings on here. Basicaly it's 50/50 with opinions who will win. Myself bet around 5-20 dollars a day, depending if i get a win on something. It's tempting to go for bigger bets, but holding off for now.
Hang with friends, enjoy life when young. Don't destroy it with gambling, and party a bit, not a lot.
Take a break, get your education. Good for you on making a choice, good luck to you if you do it.Comment -

#21Here is what you do, you have lost 4 grand? So borrow another 4 grand from someone, put it all n on 1 game that is even pay. You either win all your money back or double your losses! you got a 50/50 shot at winning. Only 1 team will win!Comment -

#28Don't listen to any of the bullshit advice you get here. That is the best advice I can give you. Except for the part about finding a girl. Good luck.
If you aren't gambling just for the entertainment, it is not a good idea. Plan on losing every dime you bet, and decide if the entertainment value you get out of it is worth the money. If so, go for it. If not, don't do it. In other words, don't do it unless you have money to piss away.Comment -

Great advice!! Life is to short to miss some of the best days of you're life stressing games. Sports gambling will always be here. Money is to scarce in college to piss 4k down the drain on some coin flips. Go out and enjoy you're life and when you're ready Vegas will still be taking wagers. Good luck buddy and very good decision.Comment -
