Cincinatti -5 Vs St.Johns

Cincy is terrible. They struggle to score every possession. They have no perimeter shooters. Their best offensive player is a PF, that plays C. He takes fade away 15 footers, and struggles in the post. Mainly his struggles in the post are b/c his teammates cant shoot, therefore the opposition just clogs up the paint.

St. Johns has been a FADE on the road, but Cincy is the kind of team that will make more mistakes then them. Cincy struggled @Depaul and @USF, Though they are road games those teams should be easy winners.

Thats true but looking over these stats, St Johns doesnt really have any perimeter shooters either. They dont seem to be a threat from deep as they have only made 95 3 pointers as a team all season. What I like here is homecourt. I believe that is 1 of the more bigger factors here why I believe Cinci may cover.

Cincy is also capable of clobbering teams and being at cincy I think this is a perfect opportunity. This saint johns teams that everybody has a boner for could not even beat cincy at MSG why will it be different in Cicny? It won't. Cincy rolls.

I also just find the line a bit suspicious. Not 1 stat really favors Cinci here in this matchup because St Johns is just overall a much better and complete team. Hell even Cinci's free throw shooting is horrible, I just think something is up. Maybe this is 1 of those games under that rare occasion where you see the inferior team outplay the better team.. Remember stats dont always determine winners. If they did, we'd all win!!!!!!

I go off of empirical evidence(observations). I've seen Cincy go 8 minutes without making a basket, and I've seen St. Johns lose to Fordham SU on the road.'

No play for me. Under 1stH looks good though.

LMAO I think I'd take the 8 mins w/o a basket over losing S/O to Fordham on the road anyday. I'v seen MANY teams in the NCAA go ice cold for 7-8 mins without a FG at one point or another...

Tough game....StJohn are not the same on the road versus home (getting outscored by almost 10 points). And they are coming off a huge home win.

I agree with all of the above. Cincy almost lost to Depaul and they were clearly a much better team than Depaul.

St Johns cant afford to lose anymore games if the want to be in the tournament so you have to think they are gonna come out strong even though they are not a great road team

1st half st johns +3 i see value in this line because theyll be focused knowing they lost to cincy earlier at home in a game they should have won if not for their FT shooting woes. after dismantling uconn lavin will bring in a confident team and it will show early. They wont be flat because they know an ncaa berth is at stake as they try to improve their resume.
