Looking at the box scores, it does look like some Syracuse shots failed to go in right when they could have covered some spreads...all speculation for now though

Don't know if this has any validity to it or not, but I am a big Syracuse fan. From what I have read, this reporter may have fukked himself. Covers.com is reporting the story originated or broke at a poker website and at this Andy Adamson's twitter and facebook - of which he has since removed the posts. Sounds like it was all based on rumor ... great reason to post a story on the Internet about it. I hope that guy gets fried and if I'm Boeheim, that dude is banned from my locker room and from the Carrier Dome.

Well considering i had a huge ticket on saturday when they played marquette, final 76-70 marquette, i need it to be within 5, which is a tie , makes me sick to think but after all i always thought this game might be alittle rigged up, why not there is huge moneybeing playing on ncb.

Guys, Syracuse has always been a poor jump shooting team, and this year with no Andy Rautins who was like their only good shooter they are even worse. Then again, Boeheim has been known to run a really loose ship, his Academic Progress Rating is below acceptable standards, only major conference program other than Colorado of course to have this.

The only thing I will add to the above is what happened in last night's games. Florida is favoured by -4.5 & win by 4. 5-6 seconds left, and Florida misses both free throws to not cover the spread.

Marshall wins by 1, the spread is Marshall -2.5 and I believe the Marshall player misses both free throws right at the end to screw the cover.

I am not saying there is any tom foolery going on, but just 2 more examples where the results of a free show affects the spread. I am sure it is college aged kids losing focus OR just not good at free throws, but sometimes you do wonder.

who knows specifically, but it happens on some level in every sport whether we like it or not (which usually depends on if we're on the right side ) so knowing that, we as cappers/gamblers choose to play these sports anyways in all likelihood having no clue if these events have any pinch of fix in them; its on us. It sucks being on the wrong side of a fix that you couldnt possibly know about, but its also nice when you win and you shouldn't have, but thanks to somebody you don't even know about lining someone else's pockets you do.
