I'm trying to take it easy on Wednesdays -- always play too many games and wind up getting burned.

So far, I only see a few:

Rutgers +9
LSU +2
Arkansas +1
Syracuse +3
UTEP -7
Colorado State +5.5
LaSalle +9.5

I was all set to make Maryland a big play before Duke shit the bed on Sunday. Now I'm not so sure.

Agreed. Like Rutgers, but Maryland might be the best play on the board. Currently at +4 at 5dimes and I would think it will get pushed to at least 5 by tip.

With so many games on national tv tomorrow I'm guessing the majority of my plays will be live, still 2 early 2 tell but for conversation sake I'd consider playing Baylor, Minnesota & UCLA pregame, pending everything lines up when all the information is released tomorrow.

I like Syracuse to right the ship also. I can't imagine they'd lose 5 games in a row; of course I didn't think they'd lose 4 in a row either.....

I'm gonna hit Michigan St. -4 right now as well, before it moves into the -5, -6 range. This is pretty much a must-win for them with trips to Wisky and tOSU coming up soon; I don't think Iowa can hang with Sparty, they only have one win in the conference and they needed 40 FT attempts and a god-like FG% to beat Indiana . God I hate betting on away teams in Big11Ten play, but this looks like a great spot for MSU.

Colorado State is an up and coming team, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they beat SDSU straight up at home. Iowa's offense and defense are both so bad, MSU should be able to do whatever it wants. South Carolina was a 15pt fav at home vs. Auburn and lost by 15, LSU is about the same as Auburn but slightly better. Coinflip.

I agree.... If anything take UCONN playing at home -3 vs a struggling Syracuse team. Teams rarely break out of slumps playing on the road.


The only reason anyone would bet on Syracuse is because they use the logic that they can't lose them all.


The zone defense for syracuse might work when they play out of conference against teams that haven't seen it before but in conference play it just don't work. The Center play for Syracuse is awful.

You think Maryland is a strong play? I think you are awfully wrong with that, not as so much as I think Duke will 100% cover(though I'll wager 5 points if youd like), but because you can wager on so many other things tonight (1st half lines, point totals, full game lines) that I think Maryland losing to Duke by less that 4 is far from a strong play.

Better check CSU's defense, they are rated #214 in field goal percentage defense and SDSU is #32. This is gonna be like what Texas did to A&M on monday night, score will be like 20-5 right out the gate tonight.

Also, the Terps have a better defense, #9 defense vs #66 for Duke.

I think the OVER in the Arkansas game is a safer play IMO. LSU is a good sleeper pick. They got dominated in several games due to their two leading scorers being out of the lineup. They got one back a couple days ago and are supposed to have the other back today. I would not play them UNLESS Storm Warren is probable. He is their rebounder, shot blocker, and team leader. He also averages double figures. GL today NoCoin.

What do you guys think of Providence -6.5 at home against South Florida.... revenge game for Providence who blew a 17 pt lead in South Florida earlier this year? I know its a public play but still looks good to me. Providence is a beast at home and South Florida is weak on the road.

No reason to **** with duke after a loss. Way too well coached and maryland is in a down year. Singler and Smith have not forgotten Grievas Vazquez sticking in their backside last year in that building. I like Duke 1H and game.
